The CIS curriculum provides several program concentrations that prepare an individual for today's business computer industry opportunities. This program prepares an individual for entry-level position in the area of Software, Security and Networking. Courses for the major option must be approved by the major adviser or Department Chair.

All of the major requirement courses are to be taken in an order that is approved by the department advisor. A grade of "C" or better is required in all the major requirement courses. To remain eligible for enrollment in further CIS courses a student may repeat a particular CIS course only once and may repeat only two CIS courses. Completion of this curriculum may require summer enrollments.
