With the increasing number of companies and corporations moving to mid-range computer systems, a marked increase in employment opportunities for qualified mid-range computer system technicians are being realized. This program is designed to provide the student with general familiarity, programming aspects, and the administration of a mid-range computer environment and also prepare them for entry level positions in the industry.

The pre-professional business curriculum in Computer Information Systems provides basic courses for the first two years of a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Business Computer Information Systems.

This curriculum provides a concentrated program of study to prepare an individual for entry level positions in systems programming.

WORLD WIDE WEB SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

The purpose of this curriculum is to prepare students for entry-level software development jobs in E-Commerce and other World Wide Web computing. All of the major requirement courses are to be taken in a sequential order that is approved by the major advisor. To remain eligible for enrollment in further CIS Department courses a student may repeat a particular CIS Department course only once and may repeat only two CIS Department courses.
