Computers impact almost every aspect of our lives. And those who understand computers have become very valuable commodities in today's workforce. At Amarillo College, you can earn your degree or certificate, improve job competence or change/expand your career opportunities. You get hands-on experience using state-of-the-art hardware and software. Caring instructors with real-world experience teach you how to master a variety of operating environments, programming languages, and software tools. You will train on the latest business computer systems. Each of the College's leading-edge computer labs is stocked with a full complement of state-of-the-art software and broad variety of operating system platforms. AC's Computer Information Systems Department offers a variety of options designed to get you ready for immediate entry into this challenging and rewarding profession.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

CIS Labs and Washington Street Campus will be closed
at 3:00pm on Wednesday, November 25th.

There will be no evening classes on Nov. 25th.

Also, CIS Labs will be closed Nov. 26th - 29th
for the Holiday Weekend.

We will reopen at 7:00am on Monday, Nov. 30th.
